As a designer, you can never really stop working on new collections.
Ideas are constantly being explored: new silhouettes, new ways of working with fabric, new proportions, colours, details and approaches to Western dresses for women. Some ideas remain sketches. Others evolve considerably before they become garments.
I would rather not give away what is coming next. Not having to explain a collection's identity before it comes out is part of the fun of fashion.
We care about the future of women's fashion just as much as we do about women's desires in today's styles.
Wear the Summer You Want
Strange as it may seem, the fashion industry can convince us that we need to change our identity.
When a new trend hits, everyone is telling us what to wear—what colours to wear, what shapes to wear, and what to keep and what to throw out.
For some reason, I just don't find that interesting. I prefer it when women draw from fashion but ultimately create their own unique style.
One of summer's greatest advantages is the increased availability of time and freedom to do just that.
